Ian J. McCoog
Dr. McCoog is an Assistant Professor at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He studied history, philosophy, and education at Bloomsburg University and earned a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Wilkes University. Dr. McCoog has published numerous journal articles and began writing creative works after studying narrative-based medicine at the University of Toronto. He was a teacher and school administrator for thirteen years before transitioning to higher education. He was a nominee for the Raise the Line Outstanding Faculty Award and a nominee for best poster International Association of Medical Science Educators.
