A social justice eco-activist with an academic career, background, and established family history in environmental policy, Ashley is an artist, poet, photographer, writer, performer, and musician. Maverick in gender and a vegetarian, she is a disabled FATabulous woman on a mission to illuminate the bridge between nature, spiritualism, science, justice, history, literature, magic, and art, as all are linked in the fabric of the Universe.

Her current work is whimsical and impactful nature photography, poetry, and paintings, in themes of ecology, fantasy, and social justice, interwoven with elements of literature, history, and conservation. Her work is available in prints, greetings cards, books, audiobooks, and more!

Ashley grew up in the woods of Central Vermont, surrounded by the flora and fauna of nature and home. She has lived throughout Central and Northern Vermont, plus in the Chesapeake Bay region of Virginia, Salt Lake City, Utah, and Northern Virginia, outside Washington DC. She has traveled the US and hopes to one day make it to the UK. She now makes her home again in her favorite quirky city of Montpelier (Montpeculiar!), Vermont, with her summertime garden in the sky lush with morning glories and moonflowers!

Through Astrobridge Artistry, Ashley aims to communicate the magic and wonder of nature, hoping to make the beauty and healing powers of the natural world accessible and inviting to all. As someone with multiple disabilities and limited mobility, Ashley prides herself on taking photos of, and being inspired by, beautiful and whimsical scenes and beings in easily accessible natural places. Whether it is on a dirt road two steps from her car door, on an accessible nature path, or even on her own balcony in her magic sky garden, illustrating that you don't need to have the ability to climb a rocky mountain trail to witness the majesty of the natural world, is one of her main missions. It is important to Ashley to share her work with a world with ever diminishing access to the truth and nature.
