Don Lesser

Don Lesser has been writing all his life. He grew up in Queens and went to college in Western New York State. After college, he moved to Cambridge, Massachusetts. Don received his MFA in fiction from the University of Massachusetts in 1981 and immediately went to work as a business and technical writer for companies as diverse as IBM, Big Eight Accountants, and Sanderson-MacLeod Twisted Wire Products. Along the way, he wrote food articles and restaurant reviews, winning awards at the Greenbrier Symposium for Professional Food Writers in 2007 and serving as a judge in 2010. He is a past chair of the Pioneer Valley PC Users Group.
His fiction has been published in the Write Angles Conference Journal. Don ran a computer training and programming company for thirty-plus years, retiring in December 2023. Crystal Springs is his third novel. The previous novels remain unpublished, though his MFA thesis novel, Deli, was published online in 2010.
