Alzheimer's Canyon is a 2023 IPNE Award Winner!

Congratulations to Jane Dwinell, whose memoir Alzheimer’s Canyon: One Couple’s Reflections on Living with Dementia, co-written with her late husband Sky Yardley, is a winner of the 2023 IPNE Book Awards in Narrative Nonfiction!

The IPNE judges called it “an engaging read from two different authors, both conversational, but each with their own style and their own perspective on the same heart-wrenching story. The joy between them is evident, but also the fatigue in making what they could of what they’d been handed.”

We’re so pleased to see this book gaining so many accolades - this award is its 3rd indie book award designation!

Jane received the award at the online award ceremony, who said she was “stunned and so pleased” and that she “wished Sky knew what a difference he has made for people.”
